PFLAG: Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. A national organization with local support groups for LGBTQ people coming out and their friends and families.
Unconditional Ministries A support network Christian Parents of LGBTQ children who have conservative beliefs about the Bible and Homosexuality but want to love their children unconditionally. They offer regularly scheduled conference calls for parents and other resources.

Also, we will have a University sanctioned official tailgate tent on the Quad prior to The Samford Bulldog Homecoming Football game on November 16, 2013. All are welcome to join us for BBQ and pregame festivities and to meet fellow alumni, students and faculty advocating for LGBT equality on campus. Also, after the game, join us for the Jennifer Knapp concert at Southside Baptist Church. She will share her story as a gay person of faith and her incredible message through her music. This concert is free and open to the public through the generosity of PFLAG Birmingham and SAFE Samford.
